Rover doesn't always make it's hidden coupons easy to find.

There are 3 types of Rover discounts you can go for. The first is probably the one you were looking for, but the other two can also save you a decent bit of money.

Every rover sitter can get a referral code that they can give you.
Internally, these codes are often called "unique promo codes".
Each codes is worth the same exact amount: 20 bucks. The sitters do NOT have the ability to change this amount.
The cost of the coupon is actually paid for by Rover, so the sitter still gets paid exactly the same amount whether you use the coupon or not.
Unfortunately, that does mean that Rover won't let you use more than 1 Sitter Coupon.
Even if you use two different sitters.
Not all Rover Sitters advertise their coupons very easily, so it can be fairly difficult to track them down.
However, there is a pretty easy way to get one from any Rover sitter in your area.
Just ask them.
Most people don't want to straight-up ask for people to drop their prices because it's rude. However, in this case, the Rover sitter is going to get paid exactly the same whether or not you use their code. Rover's corporate office picks up the bill, not the Sitter.
So it isn't rude at all. Just send them a message asking "Do you have a unique promo code?"

On top of that, YOU will also get a $20 Rover credit!
This is pretty simple, and can be sent through email, Facebook, or however you'd like.

Then you'll get 4 options:
You'll be able to copy/paste a URL that has been generated specifically for you.
This URL has tracking capabilities that will keep track of whether or not your friend joins as a pet parent.
If they do, they will give you a $20 Rover Credit.
You can share that how ever you like. You just need to make sure they click on the link and sign up on the same device, and you're golden!
Clicking "Share Via" will pop up with a few different options based on the apps on your device.
If you don't want to write an email to your friend, just click the button, and the site will write one for you. You just need to enter their email and send.
You can edit and post an auto-generated Facebook Post.
